Barbara Harris is a native of Georgia, born in Sandersville. She currently resides in Decatur, GA with her husband of 47 years, Willie Harris. They are the proud parents of one son, Anthony and daughter-in-law Antreon. Barbara and Willie are delighted to have four grandchildren Destiny Shekinah, Anthony Terrance II, William Anthony and Winston Dean.
After answering the Lord’s call to preach the Word of God, Barbara was ordained in 1982. She later studied at North Carolina College of Theology and received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree.
Minister Harris launched Barbara B. Harris Ministries, Inc. on November 19, 2012 with a Can You Imagine Prayer Breakfast that had over 150 in attendance.
She is a Bible teacher, preacher, and event speaker. Barbara inspires many with her practical deliverance of simple truths. Her down to earth revelatory teachings bring insight, faith and passion for the Word of God into the lives of the hearers. After hearing God say, “Teach my people faith,” Barbara has declared this to be her lifelong quest to fulfill this commission.
Barbara occasionally co-hosts a television program, A Time in the Word with Sarah Hurd. She also hosted a weekly Faith is the Victory Radio Broadcast in Pensacola, FL. She has appeared on WATC-TV Atlanta Alive Program.
Since receiving Christ as her personal Savior, Barbara has dedicated her life to prayer and the Word of God. She feels that this is vital to maintaining a personal relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

BBHM is a teaching ministry committed to teaching the Word through prayer breakfasts, conferences, retreats, Bible studies and church services.
A prayer ministry is a vital part of BBHM. The future vision of the ministry is to develop a City of Faith Prayer and Teaching Retreat development with lodges, cabins, recreational ares, conference center, dining hall and church chapel.
